A plugin that can rename items with color codes.

Hey, im looking for a plugin that can rename any item you are holding and color code them so simple as for example:

/ir &4Soul Stealer (/ir standing for Item rename)
and the result being:
Soul Stealer
With all the enchantments after etc.
If there is such a plugin please let me know! thanks.

well timtower, i did search and i found a couple. I tried some and they didnt work. When i searched Name changer or renamer it came up with /nick names or tags above the name. Im sorry no1 is as special and perfect as you. But dont waste your time on a bukkit forums being rude to people that cant find something.

 

essentials is also able to do this if you are using it.

This works on client-side or server-side?

I tried to rename an item (Emerald) with:

/i emerald 1 Test

I see "test" but the other players see "Emerald"

 

The idea is to rename an object (which carry in hand), but server-side mode. For all to see the name of the object as I've renamed. If server-side, it should be, but if it works the way you say, is client-side.

 

you do understand it creates a single item stack with emerald named "test", and not renames all emeralds in the server to "test", right?

 

Yes, I want something like "/i name: Test"

And what we carry in hand rename for all players on the server: D

Like other plugins .... as "ItemRenamer" but with essentials (to avoid having to install more plugins, if it does the same).

 

It might be possible.
You can apply metadata to all of the ways the specific item is obtained.

That will rename every item spawned or already in the world to the name you specified. Colors work.
