A more "lightweight" alternative to Factions?

Hey guys,
It's HDfunctions! Is there a "lightweight" alternative to Factions out there? Ever since I have gotten Factions, players seems to be lagging now- before there was rarely any lag, now that I got Factions... lag seems to be more common.

Factions doesn't add noticeable lag by itself. What are your specs? Also, don't trust players complaining about lag. Players who complain about lag usually aren't technically trained enough to distinguish between:
- server lag (your problem)
- connection lag (their problem)
- client lag (their problem)
- ignorance (their problem)

You do know that your mouse and keyboard doesn't matter whatsoever.
