The title pretty much explains it. I am scared of updating to a dev build considering the fact that I have over 30 plugins. Is there a way I could patch the JAR to allow 1.6.1 clients on a 1.5.2 server? I know it was possible to allow 1.5 clients on a 1.4.7 server. Can this happen now or do I just have to wait until a beta build and update all my plugins?
You should probably just wait. You can mess around with packets and such, letting 1.6 people join when it's actually 1.5, but I don't think that's a great idea...
bm11111 It'd basically be reverse engineering the update (which took a week or so) - a lot of time going to waste if you ask me.
