I updated my Minecraft to 1.4.1 and brought up my server and noticed now that plugins were outdated. So i pulled them out for now and logged in. I could get into the game but no1 else could like the server wasn't even up. My friend said his server didn't need any updating and worked fine. Why is no1 allowed to log into my server all of the sudden? Am i suppose to change something?
you should probably give more information about whats going on here... for example what are you updating from... like are you just now getting the whole 1.4 update or did you already have 1.4 and you are just getting 1.4_01 ?
i've had 1.4 and am now going to 1.4.1, I can log onto it with localhost, but when i type my ip in it acts like the server isn't even there. I checked my ip and its the same as normal. Could it be possible if my ports somehow got reset?
First of all, check again to make sure your external IP address is the same. If it is the same, check your internet router and make sure that nothing happened there AND that your internal IP address is the same as your port forwarding rule. If nothing's happened there, check your virus software as a recent update may have blocked the server's ports.
