I also noticed that you were working on a chat/message plugin. If I could just point out a few things that I as both a player and an administrator would love to see:
If possible, allowing characters to choose an "in-game name" or a screen name, that would show up in chat so that they could chose a name for their "hero" or character
That would be a pretty neat idea, though I don't think I would be able to alter the name you see above the player (without a large amount of code). Of course, your chat name could easily be made to say something else, and if you still would like that to be implemented, that could definitely be done.
Yeah, I understand that changing the name over the player would actually require client-side addons.
But if you could make it so that the players chat name is changed that would be perfect. I just wanted a way for my players to be able to further customize their characters around their roleplay. If their chat displays there chosen roleplay name that'd be excellent
Also, concerning their "real" name being displayed over them, I think this is perfectly okay, and would actually be good that it is unchanged so that players could know what to type for commands or postings so that they can still know the players "real names"
