What's to explain, it passes you a chunk, you populate based on that chunk as if you were calling a function to make a structure. What's the issue?
My issue is getting the multiple chunks to "flow" my reliance on the random element is causing my different areas to not line up correctly such as a sharp drop off from a cliff to an ocean
That's an issue everyone is having - terrain generation should be done in the generator however - not the populator. For seamless terrain, speak to @Pandarr - he's the authority on it atm
It's an intelligence test - like the oracle! You have to find him yourself, before you get the answers you seek.
