Bukkit server packs

Hello,

Is there anywhere you can DL a pre configured bukkit server pack (for lan) with something like the top 10 ten plugins already installed. That would save alot of time and head scratching for some of us.

Someone who is too lazy to click a few times to get to google, find out how to set up server, and find those plugins shouldnt be running a server. Just sayin.

 

Someone who has nothing better to do rather than kick off flaming wars shouldnt comment in other peoples threads.

You honestly ought to take the time and figure it out yourself. You can't find a 'top 10' plugins, it completely depends on what you're intending to create. How could anyone know what kind of server you want to setup? Then, would there need to be multiple 'starter packs' for such?

And then, when you want to add functionality to your server, you want to add more plugins. You'll just be learning how to set stuff up all over again. If for some reason you wish to say "I don't have enough time", then you're better off playing on other servers.

Indeed, and by that I can see it is REALLY important to you that you are liked by others as well as receive the approval of others in order for you to function and seem well adjusted. What are you, like 2 years old?

You have some merit in you comments however. I didn't realise how easy bukkit plus its plugins were to implement. Sometimes you just get to the point where you cant be bothered learning yet another thing to get a mod working or create your own becuase you have had to do it so many times before. You get lazy and just want to stand on the shoulders of others. So my bad I guess.

On a completely different topic, I beleive the pluggin search would benefit from being able to filter search results by bukkit versions for its pluggins.
