DotA/LoL/MOBA Style Plugin (Will Likely Require a Team!)

    I read the sticky, searched for this type of plugin, and there was a dead thread that was in the wrong subforum. Now, please, somebody make this plugin!

    This plugin will likely be Spout-based, due to its sheer magnitude!
    I am currently learning Java and how to make plugins, so if you want me to help you out, I'd be glad!

    Features that are essential:
    -Pre-game, randomized (or not, admin's choice) team-based gameplay, from 3v3 to 5v5, or more!

    -NO SPRINTING! Read my classes at the bottom to see why.

    -Arena Marker: A tool (Such as a stick, wooden hoe, etc.) that can designate the arena's size height and boundaries

    -Creeps that spawn every (configurable) seconds and try to get to the other team's core/ancient/POI.
    -Creeps should include: Skeletons and Zombies to start the game, and after destroying the other team's barracks, start spawning bigger, badder creeps, like iron golems, snow golems, creepers, etc.

    -A core/ancient and tower system is the biggest part of this plugin. The core should be a giant obsidian cuboid, maybe 2x2x2, that's floats in midair, and sustains damage. So, if I hit the core a few times, then run away to prevent myself from dying, the core should maintain that damage, meaning it won't restore back to full health. Towers should be like the things in The End, except they put out lots of damage to players, killing them in 5-7 hits, and kill creeps in 3-5 hits.

    Features that would be cool:
    -Mana: For skills.


    -NO block destruction within this arena, or team-killing, griefing, etc. (configurable maybe, for those who like to grief?)

    -Respawn time: After death, depending on the game 's total time, you must wait for X seconds before coming back into play. There could be a glass waiting area above the map to watch while you are dead.


    -Class picking before the game. I'm not expecting a whole hero pool, but a little GUI or button-based class picking system would be cool. (My Class recommendations and ideas at the bottom of this post.)

    -Custom GUI w/ Mana Bar, Health Bar, Exp. Bar, etc.: Pretty self explanatory, there is a link at the bottom of the page showing DotA basics, you might get inspiration from there.


    Dota Basics:



    Classes I Want:
    -Archer:
    Weapon: Bow and Arrow
    Mana: Yes
    Skills: Arrow Storm - Allows the player to draw the bow back twice as fast, and arrows fly 1.5x faster. Costs X mana.
    Critical Shot - The next arrow shot will deal 2x damage, stun for 1 second, and slow for 0.5 seconds. Costs X mana.
    Escape Artist - When toggled on, the Archer runs 2x faster while draining X mana per second. When mana is depleted, Archer is stunned for 1 second.


    -Brute:
    Weapon: Iron Sword
    Mana: No, but has cooldowns
    Skills: Deflect - The Brute blocks the next attack dealt to him, stunning his assailant for 1 second if the damage was via melee, or gaining 1.5x move speed for 2 seconds if the attack was ranged.
    Enrage - The Brute takes 1.5x damage, deals 2x damage, moves 1.5x faster, but is stunned for 1.5x longer.
    Warrior's Call - All allies in a 15 block radius get 1.5x move speed for 3 seconds.

    -Mechanic:
    Weapon: Flint and Steel
    Mana: Yes
    Skills: Turret - The Mechanic drops a Dispenser, shooting arrows at enemies and healing any allies in a 5 block radius. Costs X mana.
    Booby Trap - The Mechanic plants an invisible block of TNT that detonates when an enemy gets within a 10 block radius. Costs X mana.
    Getaway - The Mechanic gets in a minecart, rides 3x faster than waling speed towards his cursor., and stuns enemies within a 2 block radius for 1 second. Costs X mana.

    -Assassin:
    Weapon: Stick
    Mana: No, but has cooldowns
    Skills: Assassinate - When behind an enemy, the Assassin concusses his foe, stunning him for half a second, and slows move speed by 25% for 1.5 seconds.
    Hit and Run - After activation, the Assassin strikes his enemies multiple times. For every hit landed, the Assassin's move speed is increased by 50% for 10 seconds. For example, when activated, I have three seconds to land as many hits as possible on enemies. If my hits land three times, my move speed goes up to 150%.
    Wall Climb - The Assassin dashes towards a wall, begins his ascent, then gains 25% move speed for each block height scaled (Scale a 4 block high wall -> 200% move speed)

    -Mage
    Weapon: Blaze Rod
    Mana: Yes
    Skills: Ice Shot - The Mage shoots an icy ball towards a foe, slowing and stunning for 2 seconds. Costs X mana.
    Fire Shot - The Mage shoots a fireball towards a foe, stunning for 1 second and burning the foe until he can find water or a healer. Costs X mana.
    Teleport - The Mage dashes forward 20 blocks. Costs X mana.

    -Medic
    Weapon: None
    Mana: No, but has cooldowns
    Skills: Heal - Nearby allied units gain 50% health and lose any debuffs.
    Bless - Nearby allied units gain 50% attack damage and 50% defense.
    Pray - The Medic prays, and receives a Diamond Sword for 3 seconds.

    -Blacksmith
    Weapon: Wooden Sword/Stone Sword/Iron Sword/Diamond Sword
    Mana: Yes AND No
    Skills: Forge - The Blacksmith improves his weapon using all of his mana, but his mana will not regenerate for 5 minutes.
    Lava Dump - The Blacksmith deploys lava 5 blocks in front of him, stunning, burning and slowing enemies that remain in the lava.
    Sharpen - The Blacksmith's weapon damage increased by 25% percent. Costs X Mana.

    -Breeder
    Weapon: None, but has a Wolf
    Mana: No, but has cooldowns
    Skills: Whip - Reduces your wolf's health by 25%, but increases his damage by 50%.
    Feed - Feeds your wolf, restoring 50% of his health. Wolf can't attack for 5 seconds.
    Call of the Wild - Spawns 10 assorted animals. Animals may drop food on death. Animals will not give XP, but will give gold.

    -Fisherman
    Weapon: Fishing Rod
    Mana: No, but has cooldowns
    Skills: Catch - Throws his line towards an ally or enemy, bringing them towards him.
    Gone Fishing - At a water source, can catch fish. Fish can heal the fisherman or an allied player.
    Trader - The fisherman instantly sells all of his fish to a trader, receiving gold.

    -Demolitionist
    Weapon: Button
    Mana: Yes
    Skills: Plant - The Demoman plants a pack of TNT 5 blocks ahead of him. Detonated with his button. Costs X mana.
    Psycho - Using half of his mana, the demolitionist can plant as much TNT as possible in a 10 second period. The TNT can be detonated whenever.
    Sacrifice - The Demoman gives 25% of his health to gain 25% mana.

    Any suggestions or comments would be much appreciated! I will likely add more to this forum as I think of more features!
