Look, i've followed every-new-thing BY THE BOOK everything step by step watch at least 20 videos and read heaps of forum threads my port has been forwarded correctly its just people cannot connect! My external ip is 121.223.149.92 and it says the port is closed and I've enabled UpnP, but it still says its closed can anyone help me? Oh bye the way sorry if this has been posted many times.
Time to do everything by text Try http://www.canyouseeme.org/ with the port you will run MC on (usually 25565). If that doesn't work (as you stated above, it probably won't), the go into your modem, portforwarding area, and portforward MC... Need Help? Go to http://portforward.com/, select your modem type, click skip add, then select Minecraft Server and it will show you step by step instructions on how to do it. One that it done, go back to canyouseeme.org and test it again.
I followed that about 2 hours ago went to that exact adress both of the links, still says its closed. literally read each step 10times to check
What is your setup? Modem > Router > PC or Modem > PC If a router is involved, it gets more complicated... Also, have you added an exception to your firewall (if on Windows)? That also blocks incoming connections.
If you don't mind (so i can get a sense of your set-up), go into cmd and type tracert -h 5 www.google.com
Forgot to add Once it's done, right click the CMD window, click Mark, highlight everything from tracert down, press enter, then paste on here

All seems fine... The only thing i can possibly think of is you didn't quite port forward correctly :S If you want, you can download TeamViewer and make an account (free) and i can look at it if you want... That goes for THedyldozer too
