Plugin category: FUN Suggested name: Acidic Depths A bit about me: I'm a server admin who runs a small server called Iyeru's Origins. Mostly for friends and whatnot. What I want: I'd like a plugin that allows us to craft acid into a bucket, and be able to place said acid like water. The acid would act much like lava, but not have a lingering damage effect (Or, you, as the dev, could add a poison.linger = true variable.) To craft it, you'd need nether wart, mushroom (any) and a bucket of water (Nether wart middle, bucket of water bottom, mushroom top.) Once crafted, placing the acid is as simple as placing water. However, the acid will slowly dissolve through wood objects (except lockette signs and doors) more slowly (or faster, maybe another variable for that?) than lava. The texture for it should be green by default, but can be edited in a PNG File of sorts (or just a color mask on water.) What I don't want: To have it require Spout. Ideas for commands: No commands needed for this plugin. Ideas for permissions: acidicdepths.place (Be able to place the acid.) Willing to pay up to: $0 When I'd like it by: Doesn't matter. It WILL require Spout, because you want to add a new block... And adding a new block without spout is hard, hard, hard, hard.... hard or maybe impossible...
Then, tell me, can I add spout, but not have people use spout clients? Because most of the users who join my server can't afford many modifications, or don't even know how to do them safely and effectively.
If they don't have a client mod, it will produce unexpected results. As to what happens when they step in the acid without the mod, I have no idea. Most likely it will act like water to them.
