    it's quite easy actually. In the first post, there is a description on how to get the IDs of the guns. If you've got them, open the mobarena config and add the IDs to the classes like you want.

    i tried that alot of times but all it does is give me flint!

    Go to your spout plugin folder, look at the itemmap text file... Voila :D

    Yea, I kind of have a problem. When I craft a gun, It shows up as a flint, and so does the ammo. I didn't make any of the guns, I just used the SDK gun pack. Also I'm new to Spout, so I just probably just screwed up some were. So If someone can tell me what I did wrong, I would really appreciate it.

    Did you download the spoutcraft client and are you running it?

    guys when i say i get flint, its only when i put the ID's into the MobArena config.
    Also I'm making pack with assault riffles, launchers, 2 snipers and pistols.

    atlan, he wants to know how to custom edit the ID's of the guns... Sadly, FatMiners , My method doesn't work :(

    Would it be possible to add a "spread" factor? I'd like shotguns and miniguns/chainguns to have a wider range of shot on my server, and currently all the guns seem a bit too similar in the accuracy department.

    thank you man i LOVE you you are my favorite plugin maker and how are you not on bukkitdev yet? oh yea and if it isnt clear i would love it if you made the id configurable.

    You texture them yourself, or download SDK's gun mod and use his textures.

    If you want a premade GunPack, I am currently in the middle of making one that has an AK47, a M4A1, 2 Snipers, a Thunder Gun, a Bazooka, a MP5, a Desert Eagle (also in gold), a Minigun and a Shotgun. I also have another special gun in mind. All with ammo and recipes!

    I have created A 'Realistic' Pack, with 29 guns, cod maps, and fully functioning PVP (With recipes, config, etc)... Will NOT be for release, but I will be running a server with it.

    dta1 I know there is already a few links on this forum, I just want to bring some new BALANCED content. Oh and a Thundergun is just a low damage gun (very expensive to make), that fires out lightning.

    oh you download the textures as a 16x16 image and if you want to use them because you've edited them say, you could use dropbox or some other hoster like that. To find/see your guns your gonna want to go into creative unless you really want to try and craft them! hope this helps erickmind!

    Yes:
    UPDATE: Version 1.5
    • Completely recoded the effects system: From now on there are three types of effects: targetBlock(will affect the targeted block), targetEntity (will affect the targeted mob/player) and flightPath (will affect every block the invisible bullet goes through). For further information see the first post after I updated.
    • Fixed bug with zoom textures causing lag.
    • Fixed missing zoom out in some situations.
    • Readded old recoil method and renamed the new to knockback.
    • Smoothed old relcoil method (the motion goes a bit back after recoil )
    • Scaled back the new knockback method (you can't fly anymore through knockback :p )
    • Added possibility to use the custom ids of spout in the recipes ([ID]:[SUBID]), so now it's also possible to use the items from SpoutMaterials for crafting guns ! You can now also use ammo items in your gun recipes!
    • Added new effects: fire( plays the fire animation of the mobspawners), draw (draws the target to the shooter; opposite of push), place(places the given block), break(every material with a lower hardness than the potency of this effect will be destroyed)
    Upcoming features for 1.6:
    • a spread factor will be added
    • more effects will be added (make suggestions)
    • possibly there will be a very early version of my placeable guns
    • I'll fix every bug I've done in this update. :D
    • there will be a surprise ....

    @FatMiners - I tried everything I know, but I could not reset the custom ids of spout. Sorry about that, but I'll continue trying.
    dta1 - now your flamethrower will work. But I suggest that you should put a 'place'-effect with 'block:' fire, that will place the real fire. Otherwise there would be the flames effect only.

    Bugs:
    1. Vertical Recoil creates automatic ZOOM out. (When firing)
    2. Vertical Recoil causes '0' reload delay..
    3. Vertical Recoil causes rapidfire 'loop' glitch..
    4. Aiming slightly above level ( like 10 degrees) and down site makes you fly when you shoot.
    5. Sometimes, spout loses sound.. Not server, spout... More efficient sound method? (Not on user end, behind the scenes... it is annoying having to restart spout. All sounds are lost.

    Also, please use the bow method (or make an auto-sneak) for slow while aiming down site... this way there are no particles from the potions..
