i am building a RPG server and would like some more choices with Obsidian, if there is a way to make Obsidian Stairs, Half Blocks, Weapons, Tools that would be great Admin/Quest rewards. i am Also looking for one block corner stairs. I am running 1.1-R3 at the moment, thanks for any help or info
your all just lazy. guess I'll go to the modding community, they CAN create new blocks. but i will inform you of this little tidbit first, guns, explain them as not being able to make a new block, how can we make guns? yes i know admin can't spawn one or grab from a list, but can be made with custom recipe. so explain the "not able to create a new block" http://forums.bukkit.org/threads/mech-fun-gunpack-create-your-very-own-guns-spout-1-1-r3.57768/
These people have been misinformed with the fact that you can make custom blocks and items, however you WILL require Spout which links the client with the server (aka everyone will need the Spoutcraft client) without it, it is impossible.

Hopefully somebody will eventually make a client-side mod downloader that could use plugin channels to automatically install required mods as needed by servers.
Just want Obsidian stairs and half blocks, if you don't want to do tools, fine but at least some more Obsidian blocks would be nice!
... It is impossible the Modding Community is usually SinglePlayer where it is possible. Unless you use Spout... Then it is. That Gun mod you put said "Spout" Which means you will have to use a client etc..
