Inactive Project Changed to Guns+ [DELETE]

Should make the crafting on guns similar to CustomCrafting the plugin

 

I am thinking of trying to do a Spout GUI for crafting instead, we will see how that goes.

 

I really like your plugin, but there's a bug I'd like to bring up.

If you have arrows in one certain place or around ya, and shoot a rocket at it, all those arrows become rockets and scatter and destroy.

Thought that I'd bring that to your attention.

 

I'm loving both gun plugins but I'm leaning towards this one (mostly because you have made it so players have to manually reload). I just have a few option that I would love to see added but not sure if your going this way:

1. Custom ammo, choose what guns use what ammo.
2. Being able to turning off block damage for explosives (rocket launcher, grenades, etc.). I tried using WorldGuard but the rocket launcher just tore a hole in the world regardless.
3. Rocket launcher uses the ghast fire ball [or when it's out, the new fire charge] (this one's more of a suggestion and not a deal breaker, just thought the effect would look better). This might fix the above block-damage scenario since plugins like WorldGuard can stop that block-damage.
4. A way to disable a particular firearm/weapon (in case you might want everything but rocket launchers).
5. Add bullet effect to walls like arrows stuck in blocks except bullet impact marks (pretty sure this has to wait for spout's entity API to be finished but figured I'd through it out there now).
6. The scope/zoom effect would be nicer if it had a hotkey and possibly had something like the old punkin-helmet/scuba effect of masking the screen so you only see a circle and large cross-hairs, like your looking through a scope.
7. The ability to use a custom sound for each weapon.
8. Bringing back the arrows launched by weapon for a crossbow option...

I'm just a little to jazzed about this plugin, so sorry if I went overboard on requests, and sorry if in the future I end up spouting more...

 

Thanks for letting me know, forgot about that possibility when adding in the rocket launcher xD.

Spoutcraft is a launcher for minecraft. You use it instead of minectaft.exe. Click here and go to the bottom of the page.

Really nice update... I am going to use his for some things, and yours for others (GRENADES ON YOURS ) and shotguns, and they have spread... His has much more customization at the moment, but they work seamlessly together and are both unique.

 

Glad I can rank with him xD only been up since Saturday and already have alot of downloads so I am really proud of this plugin. I still have C4 and some more customization options I want to get done before I try a HUGE new thing that I have no idea what will be... xP

Edit: I now rember the Huge Update :3 so expect it soon.

But anyways, if you could implement fire rate that would be amazing.

 

Burst fire and Auto Fire (ie Firing modes) are coming in the next update with C4 and Flame thrower. Then that is about it for updates till the Huge feature I am putting out xP

 

How long until the big update? Pretty excited Also in the next update add fire rate.

 

How i set up a server with the plugin Guns?

Just thought of something that I would love to have added: damage!

OK so I need to explain this, I was grabbing images off the net and saw an old flintlock with a bayonet, then realized that you can hit mobs with a gun by left-clicking. So left-click would be meleeDamage and right-click would be gunDamage in the config...?

 

been suggested by the server I work on xP I am holding off on that for a little while I work on the bigger and more interesting features first.

 

SO excited for burst fire mode... PLEASE add rate of fire - I will use this mod all day. Also, Zoom factor: (How much the gun zooms in, and on a key press like z, not automatic) should be added.

 

only two guns have zoom right now, machine guns (minor) and snipers (major). Their zoom factors most likely not be configurable yet as I am focusing on adding the new features then adding those config nodes.

When you get to the crafting portion can you see if you can hook into SpoutMats for custom parts. I know I will have custom ores on my server and would love to use them to craft things like gunmetal for firearms.

downloads spout plugin, spoutcraft, and guns. Spoutcraft is a new launcher so have that on your desktop, put spoutplugin and guns inside your plugins folder.

When I start Spoutcraft and type /guns give 2 nothing happend and my server shout down

I'm so frustrated I've downloaded Spout,Spoucraft,Guns type /guns give 3 and the server will shout dowen with ,,lost connection'' then i must restart the server

Sounds like your server is bugging out rather then the guns, are you offline?
