the command works just fine for me.

if another plugin that handles economy is detected, essentials eco will automatically defer to that plugin.

Working with 1.1-R3, WorldGuard, WorldEdit and Essentials-2.8.1. The /nuke command correctly drops the TNT boxes but after the assplosion, there are many phantom white TNT boxes lying around. WorldGuard rolls back the massive crater that was created, and I'm wondering if it is somehow interfering with the TNT boxes somehow or if it's an Essentials issue. Has anyone else seen this?

Is there any way to get an actual text list of item names in regards to the /give command?

If it is its not working for me.
any known conflicts between any other plugins and essentials? I don't have commandbook or any other "bulk commands" mod or anything like that :)

Also, is their anyway to change how the /who command looks in essentials?
if i can get colors in /who and the online list when pressing TAB my essentials configuration will be complete.

    -thanks for help

Can I use the world name "admin" and use the command /world admin to teleport to that world?

This is a client-side graphical-glitch. relogging will solve it.
    https://github.com/essentials/Essentials/blob/master/Essentials/src/items.csv
    1) what are you using for money? iconomy?
    2) colors should show up automatically on /who. there is an option in the config to sort the list by groups.
    yes, you can.

I'm actually going to use a server teleporting plugin instead. That way I can have different world configurations, since my admin world is a flatlands creative world, and my normal world is just a normal survival.

I figured it out: iChat and essentials chat are not compatible. I do have iConomy and it works flawlessly with ess.
    thanks for the help everyone!

NOTE: If you are using iChat, it will take precedence over essentials chat. iChat does NOT have colored list features. So removed iChat and reinstalled EssentialsChat and everything works great!

id like to bring up another issue which im having: In the MOTD txt file, i would like to use variables such as %name% but they do not work. are there specific variables that work with this?

    for example:

    Welcome %name% to scungilli.net Minecraft!
<Message so on and so forth>

any ideas why this wont work?

People on my server keep complaining that crafting is broken (sometimes).

  12. Quick question, I don't know if it's a certain permission node, but I could go in to a negative balance on essentials economy, any way to fix that?

Assigning [enchant] commands to signs for long enchantment names doesn't work (such as FireProtection, or Bane Of Arhtropods). Also none of the Bow Enchantments seem to work. Am I trying to do the format wrong, or is this a bug?

Hey guys, is it possible to disable warm ups for using sign warps? I use sign warps at spawn and players keep pushing other players to cancel their warp..... I really need to fix it!

I have the same problem. Used to be Essentials /GOD was the handler, now WG has it and I too am stuck as a perpetual deity lol.

Anyone know how to force Essentials to handle it?

Doesn't work if you are running WorldGuard, as WG is overriding Essentials. Have to use their /GOD|/UNGOD which fails to remove the status.

Right I asked this a long time ago, and nobody responded but here it is again.

    Hey I have a question.

I'm using Factions with Essentials and I set a chat radius limit to 50 blocks.

But now, instead of **Faction in front of their name it's an [L]. How do I disable this [L] so that the name prefix stays as their **Faction tag? Cuz I want to use the chat radius.

    hello,
to start sorry for my bad English
I have a problem with essentialsgroup manager:
mods are installed on the server: buildcraft, craft and industrial redpower
These mods add machines that dig and built but essentialsgroup manager their work prevents
example: the quarry does not come on as well as other machines
thank you for your help for this problem

If "gob" refers to me then I am on Minecraft 1.1 using the first bukkit RB for 1.1 (1818 I think), and Essentials 2.8.

    [Help Please]

    Using Essentials Version : 2.8.1
    Bukkit Version: 1.1 RB3
Plugins: AuthMe, Essentials, Essentials Chat, Essentials Protect, Essentials Spawn, Log, LWC, MobDisguise, MobRepellent, MonsterHunt, WorldEdit, WorldGuard.

Problem : Essentials Signs are not working. "[Free]. [Heal]. [Buy]. All of the sign commands."

YES. I put in the right format. The signs don't even change color or tell me if i typed the format incorrectly.

    My Config :

    Code:

    # If you receive an error when Essentials loads, ensure that:
    # - No tabs are present: YAML only allows spaces
    # - Indents are correct: YAML heirarchy is based entirely on indentation
    # - You have "escaped" all apostrophes in your text: If you want to write "don't", for example, write "don''t" instead (note the doubled apostrphe)
    # - List items are prefixed with a hyphen and indented:
    # lists:
    # - look like this
    # not:
    # - like this
    # - Text with symbols is enclosed in single or double quotation marks
    # - CraftBukkit and Permissions have been updated: CraftBukkit and Essentials almost always line up, but sometimes other plugins fall behind CraftBukkit's multiple daily updates
    # - You have saved the document as UTF-8, NOT the default, ANSI

    # For example, if WorldGuard and Essentials are both enabled, and WorldGuard takes control over /god, /essentials:god
    # will still map to Essentials, whereas it might normally get forced upon WorldGuard. Commands prefixed with an "e",
    # such as /egod, will always grant Essentials priority.
    # We should try to take priority over /god. If this doesn't work, use
