Inactive [MECH/FUN] CaptureThePortal v2.1.0 - Fight for the right to Portal [1.4.6-R0.1]

    A strange thing happens when someone of the capturing faction leaves the nether using a portal... Everyone not in the faction is teleported to zero zero (coords) in the nether... any ideas why?

    Its buggy as hell for me :/
    Okay my faction captures the portal and goes in. Waits 120 seconds and then another faction captures the portal, we will not get kicked out. We will get kicked out of one of theyr factions member joins the nether. If he now gets out of the nether, we will be ported back in the nether even tho they own it.

    Whats up with that ? Also, I dont understand how to make one faction have blue color and other faction have red color. We have only 2 factions atm.

    I can't get this to work. Using PermissionsEx (latest version) and the latest version of CaptureThePortal. Permission nodes are set. No errors are shown in the logs and the plugin is activated. We have the correct setup and still not working. What am I missing here?

    wizroul I will look into that and do have some idea why that's happening
    odielag Could be a permissions issue, it should teleport people to 0,0 in the normal world. Will look into it

    You were completely right, I fixed it in 1.7.1.
    Could you download and test it?

    MGNick, that's because CaptureThePortal currently only supports Permissions 3.x and Factions. I'm planning on adding support for more Permission plugin in the future.

    godgodgodgo the problem with that is that there could be multiple portals in the same world. Thus the plugin would not be able to decide which one to summon.

    wizroul your suggestion sounds like a door locking plugin

    Realy work fine, thank you for this great plugin and to uptade it!

    Suggestion:

    - Tell minutes and hours left to capture when you try to enter the portal
    I set it to 3 hours and it is strange to see "..., total cooldown time is 10004 seconds"

    - Add a cooldown message every X minutes instead of a single message that tell the time left.


    I hope you can understand me easly, the english isn't my first language.

    Hey! There's a simple bug, admin who enter the portal (while this one is captured) kick the factions members who are in the Nether and reset it. You shall put a ignore OP or permissions command.

    Another suggestion:

    faction side:
    Set an area around the portal to capture the portal instead of the pressure plate, and allow the biggest faction (in the area) to capture the portal. And force others factions to kill some players to become the biggest in the area.
     
  13. Hey, going to assume you meant that as a question, because "I shall" not to do anything. I will, however, fix the bug with the next release.
    As for your suggestion, it sounds like it's beyond the purpose of this plugin as it has more to do with Factions than the capturing of a portal.

  16. Hello there md_5 . CaptureThePortal is fully compatible with the latest Beta build as shown on the dev.bukkit page. My apologies for not keeping this thread up-to-date at the same time. The thread's name and the first post should now be good though. So may I kindly request you to move this thread back to Release?
