Plugin category: unknown Suggested name: unknown A bit about me: I'm a plugin dev that run out of java-/bukkit-posibilities. What I want: a plugin that lets the player "walk" on invisible blocks. 1. a mod creates some blocks (maybe a special id, wool e.g.) 2. marks them (cuboid or something,e.g. with command or worldedit) 3. uses a command 4. removes the original blocks (or removed by the command) 5. any player can walk now like the just removed blocks where still there
This could be done by sending the player fake blocks under his feeds. But the player itself will see this blocks, is this okay?
well, as noted, they should be invisible. you know indiana jones: last cusade? 3rd riddle, if you know what i mean. i know some id's with invisible blocks, but players can walk though. (e.g. 67:4 stone stairs)
hmmm i quite like the concept of pre-existing invisable blocks. then alls u have to do is moniter when its broken and stop the drop or just prevent it from being destroyed...

You can't make invisible blocks, at least not with the vanilla minecraft client... Glass is the closest thing to invisible blocks, that's why MagicCarpet is out there. that would be nice to know. do you remember if this block has a collision box? i know only invisible blocks that don't have a collision box and ppl can walk though. id 36, 53:4, 67:4, 108:4 and 109:4
It got a collision box, just inviasible block fuctioning like building matirials, the id is 36 if im correct, try spawn some of 36. I think you can adjust the id on magiccarpet, if so you want you can just set it to 36. EDIT by Moderator: merged posts, please use the edit button instead of double posting.
as i said b4, it should be a local and stationary object created by these invisible blocks. and used without any command what i meant with collission box is, that it blocks the player and he can walk on it in my last post i listed the ids from invisible blocks i know, and they all don't have a collission box, only the block marker when you point at them. arrows stick onto the invisible stairs and fly though id36, woodden stairs can still burn id 36 is specialy fragile, when you rightclick them, they disappear, this seems to count as block interaction instead of blockbreak. so i have to write additional block protection as a plugin
I know its a block like others its just invisble. and if your smart enough, then you see that i told you above.
id 36 doesn't have a collision box, changing the id from magiccarpet to id 36 wouldn't do anything, except that you fall though
There is that special stair block that CaptainSparklez used in a video recently, I think that was the same as block 36 though.
oh let me find out what the other one with the collision box was edit: hmm there is no one, just use magiccarpet, cant see any from with that... or install zombe.
never i am against such mods plugins like this have their reason the invisible block should be there as an adventurepart ... for other ppl
why then have a flyplugin?, you can just give the people that you want to be able to fly permission with that plugin.
i think you still don't know what i want i want with this plugin here is a LOCAL and STATIONARY INVISIBLE path from A to B in an adventure dungeon on a RP server where only the admin is allowed to fly therefor it isn't realy a "fly" plugin
