a little help

i want and need to know what do i code plugins in java,C++,etc. i wanted to make a plugin maybe and also just plain wanted to know

 

First, you need to learn java. Lookup a tutorial online (Most people like thenewboston) or buying a book is a good way to start. Once you start to grasp the basics, move on to the Bukkit API. This should be your biggest guide, as well as the javadocs. Best of luck!

 

idk i think bukkit api is easyer to learn first thats how i learned not to say its not but its just how i did it and
darek_pwns use Eclipse as the editor it helps alot if you mess up thats were it helps it helps solve problems i would goto the resources section there is alot of good tutorials there http://forums.bukkit.org/forums/resources.60/
if that doesnt help much you can pm me and i can teach you the basics and stuff like how to set it up send messages and all

 

Yea, I also recommend eclipse, but thats in thenewboston so I didn't include a note about it. Also, I agree that learning the Bukkit api can help, but if you don't know any java syntax then your going to be stuck, sooner rather than later. I didn't say you had to know java in and out, just the basics

ok thanks cause i thought it was all in javascript but all of those different codes with similar names confuse me XD
