Yeah, just confused myself there.

Also, it's pretty user friendly from our point, because it doesn't cause frustration of permissions breaking or requiring one thing while other plugins require other things. The plugin works on its own, and it doesn't need to be OP or non-OP based.

 

I just solved the problem, by making tweaking the permissions for the feather. the ability is there for those not allowed, but the tool isn't. Problem solved. You want arrows? created a shop that sells em for the same price as their flint+stick sell price total.

If you switch from the feather while in the air will you fall back to the ground? If so it makes the plugin useless for building since you cant switch to another block to place it without falling...

 

You can fly up to where you're going to place the block and place it.

It's not going to work as well as flymod does, that is impossible. The only alternatives would be something like that "Magicarpet" plugin, where you end up with a ton of glass squares floating around in the sky.

And the plugin doesn't even work like that... maybe try the plugin before commenting on it

 

There isnt really a point in me trying it if it requires holding the feather to fly, seems all the flying plugins either require holding an item or make you move constantly while flying. Kinda odd considering the single player commands mod lets you fly, but oh well. Nice mod anyway, kinda reminds me of some game, cant remember the name of it at the moment, but i remember you could use feathers to glide.

No, but if you disable flying for everyone, the people on admns.txt can still fly using the plugin.

 

so i have to make a txt called admns put my name in there and only i can use it?

because i dont have admns.txt

In order to configure your plugin properly, you need to create admns.txt. Please see the VoxelWiki documentation for more information.

 

Okay ived created the admns.txt in the Voxelair folder and i put my name in and people can still fly why?
Also i dont get it.

I type in commands to it fails Like /letmefly
it says example type in /letmefly which is fail

Does this have permissions? Because I dont want everyone on my server getting a feather and randomly flying around.

 

Installation

Place VoxelAir.jar into your server's plugins folder.
Create a file named admns.txt ( yes, that is the correct spelling!) in your plugins folder. This file will contain a list of the names of people allowed to manage FlyRidgeFly's commands (everyone will be able to use the feather to fly when flight is enabled). Enter one person per line, case-sensitive, e.g:
przerwap
TheWoodyMan
KupoKupo
Ciscog33k

• Tip: If you are a Windows user, remember that your OS hides your files' extensions from you by default. If your OS is hiding your file names from you, the admns.txt file you create will actually be named admns.txt.txt! It is highly recommended to take appropriate steps to see the proper file extensions in your OS so you know what exactly what files and file names you are working with.
• Tip 2: Users on admns.txt will STILL BE ABLE TO FLY even when flight is disabled in the configuration file.

Configuration

When loaded by the server for the first time, VoxelAir will create a configuration file for itself at: server/plugins/VoxelAir/config.yml
You can edit this file with a text editor to adjust VoxelAir's defaults when it loads. The configuration items correspond with the toggles described in the commands section of this documentation.

I did make a Admns/txt i put my name it dunno it still didnt work dont feel like going for another chance

Is it normal that the left click, instead of freezing you in the air, is making you slowly go up? If it's intended, what's the purpose of it?
