I noticed this problem on my Bukkit server, i used 2 houers to figure out what i was, and seems like i found the reason now, when players are in nether i get that lovely messeage spammed in my console:
[WARNING]CanĀ“t keep up! Did the system time change, or is the server overloaded?
and it starts to lag like hell :S

im running my server on a
    Intel Q6600 2.4GHz
    4gb ddr2 ram
    a 30/30 mbit connection
    and running Win XP 64bit

and im getting the "nether error" when only 4 players are online, including myself.
and cant seem to find any fix for the problem, so i could really use some awesome help here :D

and please so say if you need more info such as Plugins, more specs etc.

No I don't know if it will, I know that's a difference at the moment between our servers, but I have no idea if it will work, trying doesn't hurt though =)

I would like to see your RAM and CPU usage during these laggy times, and also your plugins.

Tell me what the clock speed of your CPU is while I take a look at those plugins.

    @Gongorrian
I'm having the same issue, and my hardware is beefy compared, so I don't think its a hardware issue (i7 @ 3.8GHz, 12GB Memory)

@Gongorrian It may not be hardware, but you do have a lot of plugins and the CPU is pretty slow. Does it happen in other Multiverse created worlds or nethers?

Nope, it only happen when i enter Nether and start mining there... and all the plugins wasent a problem until i upgraded to bukkit RB 1.0 (and ofc updated the plugins too), and the problem is there with or without MultiVerse

Well i would recommend removing plugins which aren't RB 1.0.1 as i did get this problem on the normal world until i removed 2 outdated plugins and LWC but seeing as you got Lockette instead i can't really say much :L

  17. If the issue is only in one world, I would try removing that world (and letting it regen if it's a default one) just as a test. If no more lag, something is wrong in that world and you might try purging all entities from it (something could be wonky there)

Was having the same problem on my server. I'm assuming you're running dynmap 0.26 or so? It's an issue that(and possibly a couple older) build was having. Seems to have been fixed in 0.27 and 0.28.

Found out my server does the same thing when players are in the End too... so the lag comes when in every other world than the "normal" one :S

    1. Regenerate your worlds (the End and the Nether) by deleting them, and running your server again.
    2. Remove all outdated plugins.
