Uploading Images straight from Minecraft (Spout)

I had a good idea for a plugin seeing as i want a more automated way to upload my images to an image hosting /gallery site *With the admins/servers credentials*, and this would be a good way to let the community also contibute to the screenshots.

I KNOW it will require spout and a spoutcraft client, but that's all I know.

So say on taking a screenshot (preferably ONLY with the HUD hidden), the textbox comes up asking if that image wants to be uploaded. /yes or /no and obviously on yes, the image is uploaded to an image gallery site (I had either Flickr or Imgur in mind).

A config file would be needed to set a limit and a time for this limit to count, as well as the account details for the given gallery/sharing/whatever site. So say I wanted a limit of three screenshot per hour, I could just set it, and change it if I ever needed to. Permissions support would be good for over-riding the limit for certain players (moderators and Admins etc) and a permissions for initially being allowed to send screenshot to the site.

I have thought this through, and with my little knowledge of plugin development, I really do think this is possible, although may be a bit difficult.

Also, another request is that I can see the source, as I am learning Java to develop plugins, and i would just like to see how it is done :D

Well I thought it was a good idea... :(

ill look into it. not sure how long it will take. Im currently getting applications filled out with imgur / imageshack / yfrog to get my own API key for creating this plugin.

Imgur is the best way to go. their API includes a fully authenticated account upload system.

EDIT: Do you mind if you use Flickr? Flickr is another choice too. im not sure what other photo uploaders have an API.

@microskies i have a dev build working. im able to take a screen shot. now im going to work on the storage of the images/ how its organized.
