[SEC/MECH/ADMN] BananaProtect 0.5 - automatic block protection + anti grief functionality [1000]

Currently it stops sand/gravel from falling. Not nice :-/

 

I have to agree, the rollback function isn't very effective. This also still put protection on chests oddly enough.

 

Is this dead?

 

My Problem:
I had this Plugin for one month, now its 2,3GB large.
My ROOTSERVER (!!!) can't keep up with this.
So from time to time the server starts to lagg & crash.

So, can you PLEASE add a MySql-Methode ?

 

Hey um this looks like a good plug-in and I tried to get it to work but can you tell me what the commands are? I did
/rollback 1500 town
which did "Zero changes rolled back!"....
How do I protect somthing? And can I make it a specific shape? Thanks.

 

for rollback you would do /rollback 10000 <player> and it auto protects every block any one places heres a list of all the commands
/ballow <player>
/bremove <player>
/rollback <number> <player>
/togglep

i think that's so people cant break doors if there on sand...

Problem. It prevents EVERYONE to make nether portals.. but i deleted it and reinstalling. So i hope its still there.

People can place stuff on blocks but they cant destroy it, i think this is a bug.

 

Is there a way to protect an area that already exists without rebuild it from the sketch?

I love this plugin, but I have a major suggestion:
What if you could whitelist the protected blocks?
Could you make it so (optionally) only certain blocks are protected?
Like a house is only protected if it's made out of 17. Or something like that.

First off, I'd like to say BananaProtect is amazing, and we love having it on our server. But we have a world that's 10,000 blocks in each direction, and all the block protection has created over 30,000 files in the plugin's folder, and we've started noticing some lag, and high server memory usage. It seems like it might do better in a database..

So my question is, would you ever consider implementing support for a MySQL Database?

 

I have problem, when someone puts sing with [More Users] on chest/furnace with lockette, it says you did not placed that block, is there any possibility to set chest protecting to false?

 

could you make it say who owns the block when you try to break it??

Im using the 1337 as well and although the rent property features dont work the protection does so im unsure why your getting this error

i simply hide the sign block underground so that the area i want is completely protected.
