I was thinking, Let's say. If you had different skins that fit your character (E.G Clothes) You could put all the skins in a folder in your Minecraft server. then you could type example: /sc NAMEHERE tuxedo.png I think this would be great for servers which the owner had different clothes. Or even Lets plays aswell. You could wear pyjamas without the hassle of going off minecraft and changing your skin then waiting for it to update. No Spoutcraft Please
This isnt possible without spout or unless someone recreated it and also check out my iSkin plugin links in the signature and also why no spoutcraft is EPIC!!!!
its possible with spout/spoutcraft but also its not spout/spoutcraft can change your skin but the url of the skin has to be global
It's not possible without a client mod, so saying "No Spoutcraft Please" just means you'd have to develop a client mod on your own or from someone else that ties into a plugin exactly how Spoutcraft does. Seems like a waste of time to reinvent to wheel. The way that the Minecraft client handles skins is via a publicly accessible URL. A complete overhaul would be needed to do it any other way, and it has been suggested to @Afforess, but I'm not sure he feels like taking on that task right now.
