Okay so starting after I installed HawkEye and Tossers, my server has been randomly crashing and we have has MAJOR block lag.
Could anyone tell me which plugins i should get rid of or replace to decrease lag?
My server is not the one causiugn lag, it is hosted in Pheonix, and has 1mb of dedicated RAM (i think.)

    Plugins on server:

    AlwaysDay
    Craftbook
    CraftBook Mech.
    Creativity
    Essentials
    EssentialsSpawn
    HawkEye
    iChat
    iConomy
    Jobs
    Lockette
    mcMMO
    Multiverse-Core
    Multiverse-Portals
    noEnderman
    Permissions (2.74 Pheonix)
    Tossers
    WorldEdit
    WorldGuard

    Thank You In Advance! :D

    I assume you mean 1GB ;)

The two that jump out at me as possibilities are HawkEye or mcMMO as those are the big ones with block placement checks.

Another thought is that you might be running into a disk i/o bottle neck. Is your server running on a ramdisk or strait off the harddrive?

100 mb of what? Ram? Network speed?

Also what database are you using for hawkeye?

Best suggestion I can give is start with no plugins and see if you have block lag, and start adding them one by one.

100 mb of ram. Im using the database for hawkeye that my server host provided, its mysql.
    ill try that, thank you!

That is a very, very small amount of RAM. Even if you had 1 GB of RAM that's quite a lot, unless your the only user.

If you are going through a hosting provider can you link us the stats?

There's no obvious performance hogging plugin in that list.
It may as well be the host.

How many users are active while it's lagging?
Are all these users experiencing the same lag?
Just block lag or also chat lag?

On unrelated note, you really shouldn't be using Permissions.
It's old and unsupported. It doesn't support newer plugins using the new SuperPerms system.
    Use PermissionsEx, bPermissions or PermissionsBukkit.

    1. I don't think it's the host, but it might be.

    2. When anyone is on it happens, even just me.

    3. All users are having this.

    4. It is only block lag, not movement lag, or chat lag.

    5. I have tried them before and I don't like them, as I cannot convert the permissions I already have. I don't think we'll add any plugins soon that require superperms.

Easiest way to test the host is to disable all plugins, then test if the lag persists.
If it does, contact your host.

If it's caused by a plugin you can narrow it down by doing a 'binary search'.

Basically, disable half of your plugins and test the lag.
If the lag stays, enable the first half, then disable the other half.
The lag should have disappeared now, with one of the halves disabled.
(if it didn't, it might be a combination of plugins, which is a pain to track down, so I won't cover that case).

Now, you just repeat this process on the half you found to be causing the lag.
Disable half of those plugins and test it again, etc.
Eventually you will be able to narrow it down to a single plugin.

This image I nabbed from google should explain it visually:

Of course you can convert/redo the permission you already have.
But good luck staying where you are, you won't get the joys of everything that is new, almost nobody supports the old permission, only older long running plugins do that. All new plugins are almost without exception written to only support the new superperms, and that's the way it should be.

Super Permissions is an API you want a super permission manager such as bpermissions, PermissionsBukkit, or Pex

SuperPerms isn't a plugin, it's a generic term that describes the latest generation of permissions plugins. the three plugins that use this were just listed for you in the post above this one.
