PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok so a couple days ago i created a bukkit server and I port forwarded and everything. I can run the server and join it. I do not have a premium account so I have it in offline mode. None of my friends can join except for my brother that runs in the same wifi router as me.

First, leave server-ip blank.

Secondly, make sure that your players are using your external IP to connect. You can find it at http://www.whatismyip.org/
Finally, make sure that you port forward.

Why should he leave his server IP blank? I use my local IP for my server and people connect fine.

 

k so i got my external ip and its 24.150.53.172 its totally different.

 

Basic networking right there...External IP so they can connect. Leaving the IP blank is just easier.

It is going to be different than the internal ip because its an ip your router gave you and not your isp. Okay that might be confusing, but bottom line external ip is what you want.
