Fake ban

Hey guys,

Maybe its cool to make a plugin that can make a fake ban. If you hate someone you can't ban him, because he will post it on the forums. But you can give him a fake java error if he wants to join!

Maybe something cool?

Actually this is really simple to make.
If a person is on the list: Disconnected by server!
BlahdieBlahdieBlah!

If it's not done by tomorrow, ill do it then, So you want it to you want to fake an error to the player?

 

It should say something like Connection failed: time out
Or whatever is usually says when a server is down.

 

How can you fake that happening?

 

Just add them to a list or whatever, and when they log on, if they are in the list, kick them with the message.

I think its cool if you type /fakeban or something you see this:
1. java error
2. connection time out
3. etc
4. etc
5. other

So you can do /fakeban user 1 or something!

Just to let you know, It will say "Kicked by server(or player)"
and will only display text on the second line

Just a thought, but perhaps you could send a bad packet that really does disconnect them with a java error. lol.

Why not just ban them and instantly unban them?

 

You can already do this, as long as you have a plugin that allows you to kick players with messages. You just type /kick theirname Banned! or /kick theirname The BanHammer has Spoken! What would appear on their screen is, "Disconected by Server. Banned!" or you get the idea anyhow.

Use kiwi admin,edit the config, then ban him with the reason : Read timed out. Then whenever he/she joins they will get that message
