my server will not let me or anyone ellse onto it.....

hello and my minecraft server will not let me or anyone else into it.
-im running on a mac
-i have tried the newest build
-i have also tried the newest non-recommended build
-i did run a bukkit server on minecraft 1.6 beta just fine.
-im not useing hamachi or any wrappers
-i did update my mac recently before it stoped working (have anything to do with it?)

it could be the mac update or something about my computer, OR it could be something wrong im doing with bukkit (the last one is really the only one anyone could help me with i think)

 

Well for starters, are you using a wired or wireless connect from a router, and is your computer the main one in the household? When mac updates it also likes to add more firewall protocols so make sure you added the firewall exceptions to the list, and also, if your running on a router make sure it port forwarded with what ever port your using, cause if thats not done it wont work, or at least it didn't for me haha!
