when will bukkit get a build that works for 1.8!!?!?!?

The question is no longer when it will work for 1.8, but when it will work for 1.8.1.

its a simple question, why is it that almost all the servers have not upgraded yet to this 1.8 build i have been soo child-ish to miss apparently. i'm so sorry to have to bother you with my constant nagging, this is a "wonderfull community" and i thought since there has been no talk about it, someone could have told me what is going on.

The RB will come out when the bugs are fixed. That's all anyone can say.

I respect @Dinnerbone and @EvilSeph immensly for the number of lines of obfuscated code they're going through. It should be noted that they're doing an amazing job, and rather than asking when the RB will be out, you sould be saying "Cheers guys for an awesome server mod!"

I second that. Those guys are kicking so much ass. Just watching the steady stream of builds last night was enough to garner my respect.
