As we all know, golden tools are basically useless because of their durability, however, what if there was a mod that allowed you to edit the tool properties? For example: http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Gold_Pickaxe#Speed_and_Durability That chart shows how long it should take each tool to break a block, and how many HP a tool has. What I'd like to do is to be able to edit, say, gold tools so that they break blocks faster than diamond, but still have a much lower durability, making them situationaly useful. I think some people would like to also be able to edit individual tool HPs as well, perhaps making diamond harder to break, while still not making them invincible (and thereby devaluing the diamond economy). Perhaps also be able to break, say, obsidian or monster spawners with a gold pick and have it drop still?
@Raptor2213 I have made a plugin that allows you to set certain sets of tools to have instabreak powers, and also become invincible. Permissions will be added when i am home, but until Spout is updated etc, this can be temporarily used
