I'll be reading threads complaining how 1.8 broke someone's plugins and screwed them up.
Then people will write threads about the bugs, and blame Notch for not fixing them fast enough.
Then we'll get more random threads about the 1.8 update.
    I'm ready. :p

Strangely, I was disappointed when i clicked the spoiler. To find out the promised tits were an elaborate hoax.

So, I gathered from Twitter that bukkit has already received a beta version of 1.8 (before it was leaked), meaning that they are probably already on the way to developing an update for our servers. Hopefully, it doesn't take too long, but seeing as there is so much new content and bugs, it might be awhile. Most likely, bukkit won't even be able to put the final touches until 1.8 is officially released and the many bugs are worked out. It would be pointless, really, for bukkit to release an update for the beta testing of the beta. -.- I just hope it's soon, either way.

For people who want to update, but don't want to stop playing multiplayer, a version of 1.8 was also released for the official minecraft servers. They aren't hard at all to set up, but they don't run as smoothly, so don't be surprised if you're disappointed.
