Great idea for a plugin , but i have no coding experience

I have this great idea for a plugin but i have no coding experience could anyone help ?

Here it is :
It would be called KDspawn (my minecraft username is KDcreeper XD )
so what this could do is a guest / player whos not admin could type a command like for example
/requestspawn (Item ID) (amount) or /kdrs (Item ID) (amount)
that will send a request to any OP and the op could type /kdrs yes
and when they do the player who sent the request could be given that item and amount
/kdrs no , would decline the request


Can anyone help ? , is it possible ? PLZ send message for feedback !!!!

I could do that with another name and other commands for free or exactly what you want for a small donation...

 

I actualy ended up HATEING this name anyways, and the commands if you could change them to maybe shorter ? , soo what about you give it a name the only credit i want is the idea ( if theres not already a plugin like this , ) and i will give all the credit towards you . just message me or e-mail me if think you could do it Thanks in advance

 

As I sayed: I think I could. I will start doing so when I'm at home again (can take some time).
Of course the credit for the idea would go to you and it would be released under the terms of the GPLv3.
I don't know if a plugin like this exists, but if so it would be nice if anybody could tell us because I don't want to reinvite the wheel...

 

Thank you sooooo much , this will be VERY useful on my server , and have as much time as you need because im not a Dev but i know it takes a while and , btw i just found out that my server uses one your plugins its WStone .
And i cant wait to see what you can do with this , could be a nice plugin in the end.

Also when Bukkit is updated will you update the mod ? , or will i need to find out how to do it XD

I will maintain it like all of my plugins, which means I will offer support, bux fixes and of course updates.
BTW: I just fired up eclipse on the mashine here and started coding. It seems to be easy so it should be done fast (but I can't test it here...).
//EDIT: I'm at the point of implementing a timeout for an operator to handle the request right now, how long should that timeout be?

I see you took this up I was going to lol, I guess I'll still make it (won't release tho)

 

Next time write in the thread that you wanna make it so other devs know about.
For the release: Feel free to release it, maybe yours is better? Or, if you like, have a look at the sources of the one I made (they are included in the jar) and if you find something to improve: Do it (but respect the GPLv3). I'm always happy to get patches.

 

Nah it's cool, I'm still new to Plugin Developing, I'd rather someone who knows what they are doing do this one I'm mainly creating it as well for learning purposes.
