Hi guys, Sorry to ask a many-times-asked question, but I am yet to find a comprehensible answer. I, like many NEWCOMERS to Bukkit and Minecraft, have NO idea where to even begin with permissions. I want to open my server publically, but until I can be sure that perms work, this is not possible. My kids play on our Server, so have the essentials pack installed and working, but only for anyone who is Opped. It seems even default users cannot even build, despite my default group having build as TRUE.... I want to allow defauilt users some toys to play with (TPA, set home, etc) but also want to ensure no-one can use other commands. Are there any templates provided which it makes it absolutely NOOBIFIED. I have to say, even at my level of competence I am confused why I cannot get them to work..... Thanks Kappa
If you want a easy noob type option go get McMyAdmin! You can use the GUI to have it automaticly create the permissions files for you. Might be something to look at as it really makes it quick and easy.
