First Plugin: java.lang.NullPointerException

I write my first plugin with instructions for a YouTube Tuturial.But when i start my Server i see this:

and at /plugins ist the name of my plugin red.Can any one help me please?

This goes in the Plugin Development section of the forums -- you will definitely get more support there. Also, this probably means you made your plugin using an old version of the Bukkit API.

 

I have downloaded the newest version of CraftBukkit.But i became the message nevertheless.

 

Looks like you haven't created a plugin.yml. Look at the tutorial on the bukkit wiki for further details.

I have the Same issue but i didnt make the plugin. Its called Factions, Its in Red and i dont know why. I have deleted the Jar and Folder and reinstalled a new fresh one from the plugin list and it still was red.

 

I have create plugin.yml in the mainfolder in Eclipse.

Edit:I have 4 bugs in plugin.yml, i correct it and it works!
