HighCraft -Modify the crop behavior to be more hemp like!: Version: v0.2 Note that this literally is my second day i started making bukkit plugins at all, so please be gentle This plugin will modify the behavior of crops/wheat so they behave more like hemp (The name of the plugin is totally accidental and random ) How it works: You plant a new hemp/wheat seed as you normally would, you can right click the plant for info on it. Note that the plant will nto show sex until it's at least level 4 of growth. Male plants will yield seeds when ready to harvest, and female plants will yield wheat/hemp (mhmmmm...buds). You can get the seed back if the plant is just planted, if it's on any other growth level (except when ripe) you can't get it back. Wheat textures to match the plugin: (Im not sure who made the original i built upon, but if it's a problem, il remove this) Also, if someone could make a better looking hemp, it would be awesome if he shared it here The plants.txt file is really ugly, but im working on that config.yml is still empty, but i will add options as i work on the plugin Feel free to post any feedback and/or ideas! oh your talking about propagation? the way in which plants spread and create *seed lings* i like the idea! keep it up
Something like that If there was onCropGrowth event, i could make it much more advanced, so i hope they add that soon
are you planning to add any effect for consuming said hemp? rofl that would be awesome. like speech impairment or take less damage.
Yep, i planned on adding the smoke effect when consuming the 'bread' and it will slow the player down a bit, but it will heal to full HP

just a quick suggestion (not that i know anything about hemp). the males should not drop seeds, their presence should make females drop them.on their own males do nothing and are useless unless you want to breed (aka generate seeds from your females). not sure how you would make the plugin do this but thought i would mention it...not that i know anything about hemp...
I know, but this was the closest i could get to that considering that when i released it i coded in java only for 2 days i will improve it gradually, and eventually make it as close to the real thing as it gets (considering the game limitations, of course)
awesome plugin. ive been looking for this for quite some time. just one question... how do you fertilize the crops? EDIT: are they supose to look normal? i tought it will look like hemp. there is a small sugestion: you should make colours change and camera to move slowly, but shade like. and start loosing health if he eats/smokes too much.
i can't change how they look, it's a client side thing, so is camera and colors i have fertilization ready, just need to release it, but im testing it a bit first, so it will probably be a day or two until i release it
