    Description:

    ItemCraft is a Bukkit mod that allows adding new item and block types, crafting and furnace recipes, and custom tree generators and more. Using a Modloader and SettingsGUI interface it allows subplugins known as ICPlugins to be loaded to support client mods. ICPlugins can be created by translating a client mod using the ICTranslator ICplugin. Using a ModloaderMP interface (ported by krnlyng/liar) it allows porting multiplayer mods to bukkit.

    Installation & Usage:
    • Back up your world(s). Just in case.
    • ItemCraft.jar goes in same folder as craftbukkit
    • IC plugins go into ItemCraft/ICPlugins folder under craftbukkit. (folder is autocreated the first time)
    • uncomment (remove #) in front of all plugins you want to use in plugins.ics (autocreated in ItemCraft/ICScript)
    • Make sure you have the recommended version of craftbukkit in the title - since this is a mod of that version in particular.
    • Delete/rename the META-INF folder inside craftbukkit-0.0.1-SNAPSHOT.jar (Use some decent zip program (e.g. 7zip) that can do it.)
    • All players on the server needs to have the client mods installed
    • If you use the 16 bit entity id packet mod (in case you use new entites (only ICMCreatures need it)), All players need (flan's unofficial) ModLoaderMP client mod
    • All players also need the 16 bit entity id packet mod (overwrites a ModLoaderMP's class so make sure ModLoaderMP is installed first) in case you use new entites (only ICMCreatures need it) If decide not to use the packet mod, you can turn it off putting this in your startup file: false setEntityIDPacketMod
    • Sometimes you get block/item ID conflicts, between plugins. You then need to set the conflicting ids in the startup script using setID command: example. They have to be set before the plugin that uses them is loaded. Note also that there is typically a props file on the clientside you have to edit the ids on to be the same as well.

      Suggestions of mods to port
      Vote here not in this thread anymore (it gets lost in all the other stuff)

      Reporting errors:
      • Read known issues - don't report those.
      • State the version of CB, ItemCraft and ICPlugin(s) you have problems with
      • If your client crashes, start the client from command line so that you get the error report.
      • Make sure the mod(s) works in SSP First before you report any errors here.
      • You are more likely to get a response if you describe the problem in more detail and do some testing yourself first of under what circumstances it occurs
      • Do not ask for uploads of minecraft.jar.
      • Do not pm me.
      • If you have problems installing, you are likely doing something wrong. Make sure you've followed the instructions exactly, read the FAQ and Wiki. If that doesn't work you can always ask in the thread, while I will likely not reply, there are others who can help you with your problem. But at least try to get it working yourself first.

    Urgent, help please (if you can & thank you)
    after millions to tests i hope with this last chance to find it here;
    (btw i can run my offline server, the official one .exe that i downloaded from the minecraft.net after editing the server.properties [as in*5* check it down] but with no mods and i don't need that)

    2 created a .bat file :

    3 run then stopped it the .bat (to generate files).

    4 run to test :
    on minecraft client > Multiplayer > localhost
    not working showing on the client (Failed to login: Bad login ..)

    5 added my world {Age of Mythology iv} edited the "server.properties" as :
    6 saved server.properties run to test :
    on minecraft client > Multiplayer > 192.168.0.1:25565
    same thing, not working showing on the client(Internal exception: java.IOException: Bad packet id 230)

    oke here is the thing, first i want the server to be an offline server as to play on cable not online ,
    second i need to install ItemCraft for a purpose to add mods to multiplayer server,,
    mods like :
    Tree generators : similar to yours
    Ariships build : "mod Link"
    Beekeeping : "mod Link"
    Flan Mods: Planes, vehicls, etc.. : "mod Link" (this is to heavy i think)
    Wall Clock : "mod Link"

    and similar (mods with: .class & some folders to to graphic {net, gui, items, etc..})

    so how to let the client log in the server & where to put the mods ?


    anyway tnx in advance for the help & i appreciate any help .

    Can someone give me a tutorial on how to install Flan's Plane Mods? Just a quick step by step tutorial! I have itemcraft set up! Now heres what ive done!
    I downloaded Planes 1.7.3 v15 Server from Flan's Plane Download Link..
    I opened snapshot.jar with winrar and copy the files from the rar.
    I start the server with itemcraft...modloader and everything loaded!
    But..whenever i try and log in i get a black screen!
    Can anyone help me?

    In the next 2 weeks I'll translate some really great mods. But first I've a little problem ^^.

    I've seen some posts before someone has the same prob.

    - mcpmet is set to nonexisting file -

    Is the answer from the system if I type:

    "D:\\ICmod\\zumodden\\" file "D:\\ICmod\\gemodded\\" file translate1

    in the GUI.

    So what can it be?
    Here are my settings for the ItemCraft ini:

    You must put the minecraft_server folder-files into the itemcraft.jar.
    Open it with RAR or other tools, than go to
    net/minecraft/server and put all the files in this folder.

    The planes.txt comes in the same folder where craftbukkit.jar is.

    What is with your Client-side?

    I downloaded the test server icephantom of planes, it works, then load some pictures, and planes running, but there is no itemcraft. And when the planes added to the test server 1.6.2 does not load these images and the planes do not work. Client is configured correctly because the planes mod work on the test server icephantona (but there is no itemcraft).     Why didn' you change to Server 1.6.4 ? or 1.6.3? Do you've the right Item-Craft file?

    Ok I see the ItemCraft file is in the Craftbukkit-File.
    You can download a clean Bukkit #953 or modloaderMP modded and download separate ItemCraft.jar and put these file in the folder like craftbukkit.

    Than you can add planes to the Itemcraft.jar /net/minecraft/server

    Here is a already modded MC_1.7.2 and bukkit #953

    Ahhh ^^^OK I see... the problem is one .txt, (at the moment I don't know in which one), say your server you are not an OPerator. So you can't built things... Do you now which .txt is it?

    OK ^^.
    For the beginning you can type your LoginName into the Ops.txt in the folder where the craftbukkit.jar is.
    Icephantome ^^ is still there ^^

    Hope it solve it for the beginning

    ItemCraft is already in the Modded Bukkit #953!

    So ^^ I'm back later. Must learn a little bit for my diploma.
