Getting your server out there?

    Opening up an 18-20 slot server for public use, I was just wondering if there is any ways you guys could recommend publicizing it without spamming etc. Its going to be my first public server so any advice is welcome!

    minestatus.net is one way to get it out there...just tell everyone that joins to vote every 24 hours

    Thanks for the advice didn't know there was a site like that for minecraft.
