ill look into it and see what type of events that boats have. if i do make it keep an eye on the submissions area
I'm either going to do this or make the neater water instead of lava so it will be easier to explore.
well i was able to make the boat not be damaged . simply canceled the vehicle damage event. but boats dont float on lava. so now i need to figure out how to make it float

If nothing else, maybe you could make a plugin that works for boats kind of like magic carpet works for players. The boat creates a 5x5 or 7x7 pool of water around it, replacing the lava, allowing it to move.
