I am looking for a plugin/program?

Hey, does anyone know a plugin, or a program or a bat code to save the world when the console is closed? Recently the world does not save when I close the console.

 

What do you mean when you say "close the console". Are you running the server on your home computer? Why not simply do a /save-all before you close it?

 

I am running it on a server. two reasons are

1.I am used to just closing it, and reopening it.
2.Memory leaks, so my server resets at midnight. Makes it smoother during the day

 

Well I don't think forcefully stopping the server will ever save, you have to safely stop the server so it can save.

 

I don't understand, it used to save before....

 

Force-quitting or simply clicking the X in the corner of the window (for windows), or Ctrl+C (for linux) is not a safe shutdown and probably won't save. You need to type 'stop' into the console for a proper shutdown.

 

What nickrak said... typing 'stop' does a proper shutdown. Not that much extra work... but there's probably a way to script that too.
