    Hi all

I am trying to setup a minecraft server and have got the properties file set with my internal ip 192.168.8.101 and using the default server port 25565.

I made my ip static and added a port forward to my router.

I have added a rule in my firewall for this and have tried with my computer firewall disabled and the router firewall disabled.

I gave my friend my external ip with the port 25565 to use to connect and still doesn't work....

if I type netstat -a in command prompt, the port 25565 shows: Listening

    What am I doing wrong???

Can you show the startup log?
And the server.properties would help. Thanks!

@CaptainCore Not used to a startup log being that small.
    Tried contacting your internet provider?

What happens after you remove the "server-ip" field?
