    Changing the gamerule maxEntityCramming seems to only have effect in the overworld, not in the nether and The End. In a single player world this works for all world.

    I verified in level.dat that the value was actually changed. I have restarted the server, which also didn't make a difference. I looked through the config files of both the plugins and bukkit(.yml), but nothing that seems to have anything to do with the entity cramming.

    This seems to be a Bukkit thing. Am I missing a config somewhere? Is this a bug?

    @Jeff_
    GameRules in bukkit/spigot only apply to a single world (to allow for more customization for server owners). If you want entity cramming to change for all worlds, you will need to go into each of the worlds and set the gamerule there.

    That does not seem to be the case. I initially changed the gamerule in The End, but nothing actually changed in that dimension.
    If I change the value while in the End or nether, the value does have an effect in the overworld.

    If this is a per-world config, where is this information stored? I can't seem to find any like that in level.dat of any config file.

    I'm using the 1.13 snapshot software, might this be a bug?

    We've changed from CraftBukkit to Spigot, and this problem is resolved now. So it seems there actually is a bug in Bukkit regarding the maxEntityCramming gamerule.

    @Jeff_ Same developers though.
    The 1.13 might be unstable.
