   We have a list of our blacklisted words in an Excel spreadsheet and I'm wondering if Java can get data from CSV files?

   Yeah, you should be able to use OpenCSV for this. Excel might mess up some internal formatting though, so open it in notepad just to make sure

   @TurtlesBeast23 Java can also read the file directly with a library, forgot the name though (did it before)
   Might want to export them to a database though.
