  1. Hello,
I'm not sure if I can really explain what I would like to do/have, but let's give it a try.

First of all, I'm a complete beginner to minecraft development and stuff. And I would like to do something like a "lobby". Basically a world, custom world which would have some basic signs containg some commands for players to write and those commands would teleport you to a normal world, which is meant for playing.

But all I can do for now is to replace my current world with a downloaded map. I only would like to insert my or any downloaded map into my server, but to keep the basic world every server contains. How do I do that?

I would like to use my custom map as a spawnpoint, so players would need to type /warp smth to get to the basic/default world from the spawnpoint (custom) map.

    Thanks in advance.

I second @strangereu and I say if you want to improve the look and style I suggest MVP MultiversePortals, Its a nice warp to make world portals for your players, and if you want them to look snazzy just drop a water bucket into the portal spot! ;)
