  1. So im updating my server from 1.8.8 bukkit to spigot for minecraft 1.11.2 because to owner want to have it this way. well, what ever. So im now creating a new and will later copy the maps and regions and such.
I now have the basics already done and just did a restart to check for errors.

Since i dont have any clue about such stuff, i now asking you what this want from me and how to fix it.
Im running on my server the newest versions (for 1.11) of these plugins:
EssentialsX (+ Chat Spawn), MarriageMaster, Multiverse-Core (the spigot version, not the official), OpenInv, PermissionsEx, SignEdit, Vault, WorldEdit, WorldGuard.

Ingame everything seems to works fine, but i dont want anything to break in future if i ignore this.
Note: Owner renamed spigot.jar to craftbukkit.jar so he can give it permissions or such on the v-server. I dont know excalty why, but he said he needed to. Dont know if this could create any problems.

Pastebin full log of a start and stop: http://pastebin.com/tLTiMh5k

Thanks for any help. (and sorry for my bad english - nativ german here.)

Yeah, he should not need to. Although changing the name should not affect any plugins, it is very strange why he would say he "needs to" since it should do absolutely nothing. Although it does not need to be done, I would recommend calling the spigot jar what it actually is.

As long as you downloaded the 1.11 versions for all the plugins, everything should work. If you get any errors/anything breaks, remember to make a thread here and create a ticket on the plugin's plugin-dev/spigot page.

Probably because of the startup script. If you do not know what all the variables do, you may not realize you can change "craftbukkit.jar" in "java -jar craftbukkit.jar".

    TheEnderman and Zombie_Striker like this.
