    Description:
    LevelCraft is a plugin devised to add a Challenge to Minecraft Single Multiplayer.It denotes normal actions into "Levels" this level is increased via the gaining of "Experience" the experience of which relates to the level. It is fully customizable and due to some recent changes is medium weight. This congratulates the user for doing certain actions. For example the more mining a player does the faster they mine and the better then mine. Makes sense right?

    LevelCraftCore is necessary to have to enable all the level plugins. It is the glue that holds them all together, it also handles the commands and the data storage. It is a beast, a boss and made my the 1337 pro that is Samkio. :cool: "Core' blimey it is mighty good."

    The Mining level depicts the use of the mighty pickaxe. Players leveling up by the mining of blocks enabling them to gain access of new pickaxes and new blocks.
    Features:
    1. Denotes use of Pickaxes. Higher level unlocks better pickaxes.
    2. Denotes block mining. Higher level the more types of blocks they can mine.
    3. Faster Mining. Higher level the faster you can mine.
    4. Double Drops. Higher level the higher your change of the block dropping twice.
    5. FirePick. Higher level unlocks the FirePick. A portable furnace that when mining blocks with golden pickaxe will drop what it would be if smelted.
    ie. CobbleStone -> Stone, IronOre -> IronIngot

    * Gain Experience by Mining.

    The WoodCutting level depicts the use of the hatchet or more commonly know as the axe. Players can gain experience by chopping down trees and planks allowing them to gain access to higher level axes.
    Features:
    6. Denotes usage of hatchets (axes). The higher the level the more axes you can use.
    7. Denotes cutting of logs/wood. The higher the level the more types of log you can cut.
    8. Faster Cutting. The Higher your level the faster you can chop down trees.

    * Gain Experience by chopping trees.

    The Combat level depicts the use of swords on both players and mobs. A true warrior will attain to keep this high.

    The Range level depicts how much damage you do per arrow. A handly level for keen archers.

    The Dexterity level allows players to jump higher and run faster with the aid of boots. Level up by jumping. Jumping higher is turned off by default and only applies to Gold and Diamond boots. Players also receieve less Fall Damage with higher levels. (Note. Every attempt to make this level a light a possible has been done. This Level however may contribute a large amount of lag. Due to this LevelUpdates for this level are run every 1min [as upposed to everytime someone moves]).
    Features:
    12. Allows users to run. Crouch to run. Must be wearing boots.
    13. The higher level you are the move boots you unlock.
    14. The higher the level of boot the greater running speed and jumping height.
    15. Survive greater fall damage the higher level you are.

    * Gain Experience by jumping.

    The Farming level depicts how a player is one with the land. It depicts the use of hoes allowing the player to use a greater level of hoe the higher their level. Gain experience via harvesting crops, tilling land and much more. Also adds the ability to obtain apples from trees by farming the leaves.
    Features:
    16. Depicts the level for hoes. The greater level you are the higher level of hoe you can use.
    17. Random chance to yield more wheat from crops the higher level you are.
    18. Random chance to yield Coca Beans from crops the higher level you are


    * Gain Exp for things such as Harvesting crops, tilling land, finding seeds, using bonemeal on crops

    The Excavation level depicts the use of the shovel. Allowing users to dig greater depths with a higher excavation skill.

    The Swimming level allows players to use helmets as scuba-diving gear. Having a higher level allows you to stay under water longer, then re-fill your helmet on land.

    23. Crouch to fill and empty air.

    The Explosives level depicts your ability with explosive devices. This being TNT, Dynamite Sticks (Redtorch light with lighter), and grenades (eggs Thank to @<Edit by Moderator: Redacted mediafire url> for letting me use this functionality.) This plugin makes explosives really poor damage at the start but as you level up you deal greater damage. Be warned :D
    Features:
    24. Denotes range of Explosives. The higher level you are the more choice of range you can use.
    25. Denotes Levels for TNT. Must be higher than this level to use TNT.
    26. Adds Dynamite and Grenades.
    27. Toggle Grenades with left click.
    28. Light RedStoneTorch with a lighter.
    29. Change Dynamite Range with left click.
    30. Depicts Levels for Dynamite and Grenade.

    The Forgery level, the most configurable level to date, allows users to forge tools, forge armour and repair tools and armour. The higher level you are the more you can forge! Level it up by smelting/repairing and forging items. A truly epic skill if i say so myself. :p

    32. Allows tools to be repaired by placing in a furnace.
    33. The higher level you are the greater tools can be repaired.
    34. The higher level you are the more tools/armour that can be forged.
    35. The higher level you are the more blocks that can be smelted.

    great plugin, but there wont be any effect on my server. A casual user, no OP nor some special Permissions rights can still do whatever he likes, like usin diamond axe, even he shouldnt be allowed till level 60.

    No errors in console.

    But now iam on 818. That might be the issue.


    Nevermind, everything is working great now.
    Leveling is only way to fast. I dont want to be people level 100 miner after 2 days.
    It'd be perfect if this would take like 3 month :D.

    I just need to play a little with the configuration to get a good speed. Anyone has any experience with a good speed for that?

    Is it possible to allow multiple plugins for an item? example: if it woul dbe possible to use an axe and a hoe for a plugin like woodcutting and farming.. and secondly use it for a "alternate weapons plugin" ? i want a class that uses axes as weapon. it can wield diamond axes, but it does not have to skill woodcutting up to allow it (and vice versa) so as soon as one matches, this grant will be used?

    Think he's saying that attacking an entity with an axe would be whole difference skill than attacking a tree with an axe. Therefore attacking an entity with an axe would not give you exp for woodcutting. It'd be interesting..
    Axe Combat - Gives you chance to critical.
    Sword Combat - Give you chance to parry.

    About the axes as weapons... Right now I've found that you get Combat XP from using swords, axes, OR fists on a mob, and that currently you can use a diamond axe to kill stuff even if you're low level in Combat and Woodcutting. I think it would be cool to separate out the Combat skill into three more focused variants: Sword, Axe, and Unarmed/Fists.

    For Swords, the limitation on which type you can use based on level is kept, but there could also be a simple Critical Hit system, a configurable percent chance for double damage based on level (modifier * level = % chance).

    For axes, it would also limit axe use by level, but only for hitting mobs. Axe combat and Woodcutting would be separate skills. As for an "extra" ability, perhaps just another crit chance, or perhaps a small damage increase so that eventually you would do the same damage with an axe as you do with a sword. And as added bonus, you could even make it so having skill in Woodcutting adds a little extra damage for Axe combat.

    And finally for Unarmed, which can't limit weapons based on level, just a straight damage increase per level would work fine, with the highest level tier having you do as much damage as a diamond sword.

    After reading this I actually looked up some of the configs. You actually get exp by doing damage, meaning you can level up your combat skill using any item possible in your inventory, as long as you're going up to hit them with it. Don't see how that makes sense. How you gonna learn to wield a sword when you're bashing monsters in the face with a shovel? That should be changed...

    I like the idea of sword and axe, but I don't think they should both get critical. That would make them pretty similar to each other and the damage increase seems like a filler. You already get an increase of damage by being available to better axes the higher level you are. Unarmed sounds nice, but it's only implemented in games that have the ability to disarm a player. Don't see how you can do that without making the player drop his weapon, which is a little unfair if you ask me.

    I don't think Health is supported with 818. Spiders don't harm me when the plugin is on.

    The damage increase for Axes is mostly to make one able to use them and still be on par with people who use a sword. It's a balance thing, like if swords are always better than axes at combat, why bother using an axe at all? But if an axe can be as good, then it becomes a viable option. The damage modifier would be configurable anyway, but my thought was that at the highest level, a person using Swords and a person using Axes would do roughly the same amount of damage.

    Then you have the crits for swords which ups its damage, and, say the Woodcutting XP further increasing Axe damage, so you end up with Swords which do decent damage and have a good chance to crit at high levels, and Axes that, combined with Woodcutting XP, does a little more damage than Swords per hit but doesn't have crits. Theoretically, both abilities would put out similar amounts of damage over time at higher levels.

    Unarmed (or simply, anything-not-a-sword-or-axe) would get direct damage bonuses the higher their level, and one COULD put in a passive chance to stun (one of the other MMO plugins has this for their unarmed, mcMMO maybe?) though I'm not expecting that. The main advantage to using Unarmed is basic convenience, of being able to effectively defend yourself without having to carry an extra weapon with you, and without worrying about sword or axe durability. This is why, compared to the highest levels of Sword and Axe, it does less damage over time. Unarmed has no crits and doesn't ever do more damage than a normal, unmodified Diamond sword.

    Of course ideally, all damage modifiers, crit chance, and woodcutting bonus damage would be configurable.

    And I realize this is starting to kind of get into number-crunching territory here which I understand some people are trying to avoid, but keep in mind this is really only for the Admins to cogitate on, not the users. It's the admins who will be setting up the config numbers and such. And really, the way the configs are set up now the system is fine for just dropping in and going without worrying about this kind of thing.

    That's why I mentioned the critical strike chance being only for axes, as it usually is for most games. I don't see why we'd have critical chance and the increase of damage for axes, all at the same time.
    Woodcutting does not increase your damage with an axe. What increases your damage, is the type of axe/sword you wield. That also means that combat doesn't increase your damage currently either. I mean you're asking for features that don't need triggering. Being able to use a better sword as you level, is what already increases your damage. So the feature already exists, just in a different way.

    I'm pretty sure I am doing it wrong but I want to clarify with it.
    When I set skills as unlevelable such as Prayer, Dexterity, etc. and then have the rest of the skills as levelable, when you do /lvl list and /lvl all, it shows as 'None', as in No levels for that class.

    Am I doing something wrong? When '*' is set in Unlevelable, everything works, but they can still see their skills that they can't use. (Our Donors get Dexterity, but regular players don't but regular players can still see this skill as Level 1 if they list it)

    Argh.
    Knowing its not RB, 819 fixes MultiWorld and still want to report this error out that may affect ya in the later run.

    that was somehow what i meant.
    swords - can be leveled
    unarmed - can also be leveled
    axes (to fight, a different skill than woodcutting) - can also be leveled
    stick (kind of staff) - can be leveled as weapon
    hoe - can be leveled for fighting

    however every skill should be able to be added to specific classes. if i make a barbarian, it gets axe-fight. if i make a soldier, it gets sword. a mage gets a stick etc.

    could you tell me shortly how class-prefix is working, because I think Permissions-prefix overrides it?!?!


    I'm also thinking about spells or special procs... maybe double drop, crit, double dmg and so on..
    Would be a nice feature ;)

    The ClassPrefix should work in harmony with Permissions.
    This may be implemented into future versions.
