3x3 Pickaxe

Suggested name: Mining Drill - Super Picks

What I want: A plugin where when you are enchanting a diamond pick axe at level 30 you have a very small chance of getting an enchantment called mining drill or something along the lines of that and what it does is it mines a 3x3 area on only the blocks pick axes are made for example like it will work on stone but not gravel. I only want one enchantment not a whole bunch of them.

Ideas for commands: /miningdrill - gives you the pick axe with the enchantment on it (For staff ect)

Ideas for permissions: miningdrill.use - lets a player use the command /miningdrill maybe but it doesn't matter what the permission node is but there has to be one so the regular players cannot get a lot of them.

When I'd like it by: By August 15-16 at least

P.S: If you know the Draconic Evolution mod with the wyvren pick axe you can make it mine 3x3 that is what I want basically but an enchant!

This is a mod so can add a new item/enchantment, bukkit plugins can only MODIFY items/enchantments not make a new one.

Therefore meaning this is not possible.

 

I am not saying to add a new item I am talking about how in the mod the pickaxe can mine 3x3 and that's what I want the enchantment to do sorry if I messed you up!

 

@AquaCowGaming Adding new enchantments is impossible (or very difficult and would need to use NMS, which means that the plugin would break every time you update bukkit).

 

@timtower But we can't get it to show up in the enchanting table.

Just do it yourself then. There is some event which lets you edit the gained enchantments. Just do a fair dice roll if you want to grant the special enchantment and then apply it to the item.

A lore in "&7" (I think, maybe "&8") will look exactly like an enchantment, so that should do.

I have done all of this for test plugin a while ago, so it is possible. I used the lore and the enchantment event and it was on 1.8.

 

So can someone please make me this plugin?

Adding your own Enchantment is not actually very difficult, it just requires a tiny bit of Reflection to register it. Have a look at how they do it in this tutorial.

I know that Thanks though!
But the lore looks the same and is safer. Only problem if it is the only enchantment, but from what he wrote that won't happen (you can't get no enchantment from enchanting).
