/i not working and /give not working on b186

 

I got /who and /playerlist working. I simply deleted craftbukkit then reinstalled it. It works fine, but I got other problem with build 186. It appears that bukkitup plugin got messed up for some reason.

I am unable to spawn an item at the moment.

 

confirm that these commands stopped working after build 183 /i /give please do not post multiple times that these do not work

 

@MatCat @chill1977 Could you file a bug report about those? I'd really appreciate it.

 

Alright Im not going to post a bug report but I have same issue as above with 186, For the recored I clicked the link took me to some beta java community site signedup No idea were I'm supposed to post this bug report. It's horrid the only benfit I see from reporting via that is you can track it better the actual method for pasting in code is worse then doing it here using a php code insert.

Roll back to 165-168. The newer versions of Bukkit aren't compatible with a majority of the plugins at the moment until the authors update them.

 

@ledhead900 It's actually an enterprise-grade bug report system that provides an extreme degree of power in terms of managing bugfixes. It has proven quite effective as our public todo list, so I would like to finally open it for others to add reports.

 

I know what it is, Im simply saying Iv seen better escp for code pastement. The one you guys use feels like Notepad.

Its Ok I guess but I much preffer line tracking bug report forums like pastepin and others the show highlights.

Anyway got new one for ya, Seems 186 Also broke the /help's ability to prune down commands you don't have permissions for.

As in it wont hide commands you can't use.

 

the essentials help command does not seem to be working anymore, did craftbukkit add their own commands in?

Ah im sorry. Im using the latest essentials, craft bukkit 186 I think (the latest one, I think thats it) and so far it gives me only one error, the one in the image attached at the bottom of the image.

EDIT: also it seems like its using the default commands now (doesnt recognize partial names with /give, doesnt recognize block names either, etc etc.

 

Yeah BigBrother, MyWArp and probably LWC are broken and worldguard and worldedit both have issues with builds above 166, those are where your problems start.

That error is for craftbukkit has nothing to do with Essentials, Essentials is just getting messed up because of all that other crud lol Oh and we have already stated that /i and /give do not work.

Does colored wool work for kits?

 

colored wool isn't ids it's wool that has a damage to it.

 

I am getting an error that seems to be pointing at the rules I have setup.

 

Take the apostrophe out of other's and it will be fine on that one error, looking for the other one, may need a copy and paste of that code to find it. Oh yeah the apostrophe in member's take it out to. Those are the same as the half quotes that start and stop the code lines so it tells it the code starts and stops there.

 

So your saying colored wool won't work?

 

colored wool won't work i really dont know but you have to put in the ids and then it doesnt specify if a color can be accepted or not, why dont you just try it?

I see that this is already in the bug tracker, guess I should have read it first Sorry about that.

I'm having a problem with the /give command in v1.31. I had no troubles in v1.30, but now I can't get anything to to work with /give. Every other command is functional (/time, /compass, etc) but /give does not report an error nor does it actually give you anything. It fails to give you anything whether you /give by name or item ID.

Oh, and essentials is the only plugin I'm using.

 

Hi. I would like to disable my /i command, from everyone.
I see that it's - 'disable-i: true' right?

Actually, lwc,Worldguard,Worldedit,Privatewarp have already been fixed for builds 168+ some require 183+

Aside from the known issues I have a little something to say about dye's in kits. Was not sure how to add the ID for a color in the kit we did it like this ID:id number it did not work seems the dye Id is not taking the color Id's in the config for kit.

This is a better Idea so can visually see how we have the dye's setup

Browse the file until you see " Disabled commands"

Enter them like I have below

Important Note: Spaces matter so be sure you add a space before the - and a space after the - before stating the command name.

 

Buggy, the worth configuration doesn't work and if they have multiple items in the quick bar, they are all deleted. tested with iconomy 2.2b and craftbukit 129.
