Plugin Help Either Pex Or Essentials = Broken

Sooo recently i have started a minecraft server but for some reason essentials/pex is weird. First of all when i use the - and - - it doesnt work??? so i set this in my permissions file (i use pex) - essentials.warp and when i try to do /warp it doesnt work??? Also when i try to do /kit starter (- essentials.kit, - essentials.kits.Starter) it doesnt work. So my guess here is that my essentials is broken or my pex is stupid. So i also tried to do - essentials.balance and it doesnt work?¿

Note: My Server is 1.8 and Has 2600MRam Also running JAVA 8 on MAC

 

1. Wow...
2. Add a "-" before a permission denies the permission for the group. So if you have something like:
- -essentials.spawn then is wont let the player do /spawn.
3. You don't need to put -essentials.(whatever) for a group without any inheritance, by default they don't have the permission if it's not in the group.
4. (Not trying to be mean) I think you should learn how pex files work before attempting to configure the perms. Then re-do your pex file.
