Just bought a dedicated server and there are lag spikes occasionally!

Hello, i just bought my first dedicated server from kimsufi


Specifications:

Processor:
Atom™ N2800
2c / 4t
Ram:
4 GB
DDR3
SSD:
40GB
100Mbps
(Unlimited traffic/month)

On this server i'm hosting my minecraft server.
The problem is that when the server loads a new chunk it starts lagging for about 30 seconds. You can chat but cannot type commands!
To run the server i installed
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_71-b15)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.71-b15, mixed mode)


On the server there are 43 plugins:

AsyncWorldEditInjector,WorldEdit, TimTheEnchanter, Essentials, ClearLag, IP-Check, ChatControl, PlugMan, AutoMessage, Buycraft, AdvancedReport, BetterReload, RandomTP, NoPluginViewer, ProtocolLib, WorldGuard, Multiverse-Core, CustomJoinMessage, KitAdder, AsyncWorldEdit, EssentialsGeoIP, PermissionsEx, Simple-AutoSave, mcMMO, CustomCrates, Vault, EssentialsSpawn, Commandspy, MassiveCore, TitleManager, SpawnerShop, SimpleRename, CompatNoCheatPlus, Auctions, HolographicDisplays, SilkSpawners, NoCheatPlus, Factions, PlayerVaults, ChatEx, ObsidianDestroyer, CombatLog, InfoBoardReborn!



I tried everything. It's like if the server freezes for 20 to 30 seconds and even with 1 user online it still happens.

What should i do? Please help me

@BasicallyLewis When you say freeze, do you mean your client just stops and you can't move the camera or anything?

 

Your CPU isn't much more powerful than a CPU from ten years ago. There's your problem.

 

i can type in chat but it is laggy when you move and you cant do commands until it stops lagging

 

See my post above yours from just about the same moment in time. Your problem is that you have a CPU which is great for simple tasks, trying to run a complicated program (Minecraft).
