Minecraft Update on thursday

so will bukkit be released on thursday too?

 

i would like to know this as well!! hopefully there will be a new Section under news for Bukkit Releases. or w/e the mod is called

im very curious about this too after hmod team said they wont update hmod anymore were rather fearful that come friday update our server will day

no answers there either it seems so strange to me that hmod updating has been dumped when bukkit is clearly not ready (dont get me wrong i understand that we have zero right to be annoyed by it after all they have released this for free and there work is appreciated just seems strange)

 

I believe one of the dev team members said that if Bukkit wasn't ready then they'd quickly update hMod. Could be wrong though.

 

yeah i must admit between my last post and now someone replied to my thread saying hay0 will be updating hmod....something that truely made my day

The default server software isn't terrible...

 

hmm when you have become acustomed to hmod, stargates and craftbook going back to default minecraft would be umm like going from ps3 to ps1 (purely opinion i know)

 

We are running our server right now with CB and things are very nice. I can't wait till it all is polished up and our favorite plugs are ported.

The only one we are really needing right now is Towny. We will be back to a public server after we get that as our server is a PvP based server and depends heavily on Towny or a similar plug.

 

I doubt it will be released on thursday, it would take a LOT of coding to get from preview builds to a beta ( i think?)
