Hi all, I'd like to know if there is a way you could have a 1.7.10 server linked to an enjin website and if a player does /report {player} {msg} it could post a forum post in the correct thread. There would be configuration for this for eg, select the thread and the information on the player who sent it and the message that would be sent. I may be giving too much credit to a plugin here but it sounded possible with all the bridge plugins out there already. Thanks for reading if you could let me know even if there is a plug in that already does this I have searched but can not find one
@kamakarzy This is possible in at least 2 ways, maybe even 3. But the main issue will be: who will be the poster of the message?
@timtower thanks Tim at least I know it is possible I wanted to check first before I requested a plugin that was not possible to do the poster of the message is a simple one I would have a fake user that an account would be made for
@kamakarzy Not sure if Enjin links users with minecraft accounts, then you could just post it as the user who reported it.
@timtower If it does that would be great an congrats on mod not sure how long you have had it. But seriously do you think you could do it for me I know it's a bigger request then timelikeme lol
@kamakarzy I am mod for over a year now And was that also you? XD I know how to do this but not what enjin is storing etc, need to look at that. EDIT: Sudden realization: Enjin is a closed system. Only 1 way left to do this and that is HTML stripping. Nasty sometimes, not impossible though.
@timtower Yeah lol how time flies. if you could have a look get back too me ill look into it too I was more looking towards a fake player as I know that would be the easiest with enjin.. well actually scraping enjin would be easier but i have no say in that one lol
@kamakarzy Linking the mc account to the forum account won't happen with this, that is for sure. Scraping it won't take too much time / code hopefully, depends on their security though, I know that Xenforo wasn't funny with that.
@timtower there was this http://www.curse.com/bukkit-plugins/minecraft/enjin-forum-link-link-your-enjin now its not been updated in a while so maybe the enjin plugin has api that maybe able to help
@kamakarzy Looked at the source of the plugin that you have. Besides it having terrible variable names: nothing useful in there. Need something capable of logging in and starting a new thread. Having database access would make it easier, but yeah, not gonna get that with enjin. Not impossible, not very easy either, don't have options to test with either.
