How do i prevent animals from naturally spawning?

    The question says it all, ive tried several methods and read and watched everything there was to watch on this subject, yet my server STILL continues to spawn animals. The key word here is naturally, i want to be able to spawn animals via spawn eggs, i just dont want them to be is herds scattered all over the world.

    It needs to function on a 1.8.8 server and that plugin appears to only work with 1.6.4.

    Even without regard for the supported version the config generates no text, i dont want all natural spawns to be blocked just animal spawns. To be more specific i want animals generated by chunks being rendered for the first time to be removed, i managed to stop animals from spawning over time but chunk generated animals are still everywhere.

    Says who?
    I noticed some small issues with it as well, I am blocking them myself as well yet they spawn sometimes, much less then regular though.

    Might need to update it to remove animals that are in newly generated chunks instead of just listening to the events.
    And a new config system, I am not using the regular way anymore.
    Will add support for different mobs etc.

    @Project_06 Advantage of an API, old plugins can work on new servers just fine.

    1. Plugins could still work even though they were made with an earlier version. I still make my plugins for 1.7 and I know they will work for 1.8
    2. You can't say it doesn't work until you actually proven that it doesn't work. eg: try it out on your server
    Also you may not need a plugin for this anyway. In the bukkit.yml, you can adjust the max spawn count for certain mobs.

    What value? In the config file there's only "worlds: {}". I put true in between the brackets. Replace the brackets with true, and simply replaced the entire text with true. Nothing changed.

    @Project_06 Forgot 1 thing to change in my code, redownload please.

    Alright i went into config and set false to the "NATURAL" and "CHUNK_GEN" settings for sheep, pigs, cows, and chickens. However this led to no results, when i enter new chunks those animals continue to spawn.

    @Project_06 Did you restart the server after the change? If so: I have no idea what is causing it then.

    I installed the plugin, started the server, shut it down, changed the settings, then booted the server up again.

    @Project_06 That is indeed how it should go, I don't know why it isn't working then.

    Yea i dont know what to tell ya. It's simply not working.
